Film facts

After a year, with much deliberation, I entered the filmmaking challenge 48 Hour Film Project Praha again. If it weren't for the enthusiastic friends and students from my school who wanted to work with me, and my colleague Michal Pazderka, who entered the competition with his own crew but still supported me to film with friends this year, I probably wouldn't have entered. However, because the passion of the crew members, who almost all filmed the project with me in the last, for us the premiere, year, was so intense, I decided to finally sign us up with the approval of our school as a student crew for FAMO in Písek called Pižďuši. At the Kick-off, I sovereignly chose the genres of mystery and drama, which we ideally combined, and thanks to the perfect producer Anička Brázdilová, who arranged the dream location - the Karlín Music Theatre the day before the competition, and the diligence of all the people in front of and behind the camera, we, as experienced bachelors, almost without stress and completely professionally made a short film, where the main role was played by my younger brother Václav Preisler . This is the reason why this film may be called a brother's cooperation.

The film was nominated by the jury in nine competition categories (Best Film, Best Student Film, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Production, Best Sound, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Use of Character) and won the Grand Prix for Best Student Film.
